Shady Acres Pet Resort
When Shady Acres decided it needed a website to reach a wider audience and provide information for its clients, it soon became clear they needed a professional copywriter. As I had no original copy to work with for this project, I started from scratch, and was required to research most of the information to ensure I was writing relevant and effective content.
As a result of my clear and persuasive web copy, Shady Acres had an increase in bookings for pets the following months after the website went live. The staff also had more time to focus on their work and less time on the phone, an improvement directly related to the FAQ section I wrote for the Shady Acre’s website.

Clear Assembly
When Clear Assembly revamped their website and brochure they called me in to write some copy and look over what they already had. I improved their existing copy and added some of my own, keeping with the same tone of their existing copy.

Writing for Vision Exercise Physiology it soon became clear I needed to focus on one thing: Vision was not a normal gym providing personal trainers. It catered for people with physical disabilities and health problems, with a goal of improving each clients’ quality of life. It was evident I needed to shift the focus of the reader to ensure Vision’s message was getting across, and I did just that.
Editing the existing copy, as well as providing my own, I wrote clear and easy to understand copy about their processes of rehabilitation, prevention, and management of clients’ problems, as well as the staff’s qualifications and client testimonials. I also edited the layout of the content of the site to make it more accessible for readers.

Watersaver Gardens
Watersaver Gardens was on a tight budget for their website, and so I provided copy editing and proofreading for a discounted price, as well editing for their brochure and press releases for Gardening Australia.
